GETTING STARTED
Unpack the unit carefully but keep all packaging materials until you are satisfied all components are working
satisfactorily or just in case the unit needs service in the future.
POWER SOURCE
Unwind the AC POWER CORD (14) at the back of the unit and insert the plug into a suitable AC power outlet.
Press the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON (13) located on the rear of the unit to switch the power on. The Red
Power On LED indicator on the rear will light up and the front LED tube lighting will cycle through the different
colours.
VOLUME CONTROL
Turn the VOLUME CONTROL on the rear of the unit (10) to a level somewhere between Low and Medium
setting.

USB & SD CARD OPERATION
SD Card operation:
1. Press the POWER ON/OFF (13) to turn the unit on – then switch the LINE IN/USB/SD SWITCH (15)
to USB/SD mode.

2. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL (10) to the desired sound level.
3. Insert an SD Card with stored MP3 songs (not supplied) into the card
slot in the direction as indicated below the slot.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (9) to play the music tracks stored
on the SD Card.
5. The green ACC LED (2) will flash whilst the music is playing.
6. To pause the music, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (9) again.
7. In Play Mode, press the SKIP+(8) / SKIP-(4) BUTTON once or repeatedly until the desired track has
been found.
8. To stop playing the music stored on the SD Card, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (9). AT THIS STAGE,
DO NOT DISCONNECT THE SD CARD yet!
9. Before removing the SD Card from the slot, switch the main unit off first by pressing the POWER ON/OFF
button (13) to OFF – the Red LED light will go out.
10. Press the memory card in gently & then release it, the card will be partially ejected and can then be
removed by hand.
CAUTION: Connecting a USB device/SD Card upside down or back to front could damage the audio
system or USB device/SD Card. Before connecting it, double check to make sure the direction of
insertion is correct.
USB Operation:
1. Press the POWER ON/OFF SWITCH (13) to turn the unit on - then switch the LINE-IN/USB/SD SWITCH
(15) to USB/SD mode.
2. Turn the VOLUME CONTROL (10) to the desired sound level.
3. Insert an MP3 USB device or a Flash Drive containing
MP3 songs (not supplied) into the USB Port (6).
Note: to operate the MP3 device/Flash Drive, please
refer to its manufacturer's operating manual.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (9) to play the
music on the external device.
5. The green ACC LED (2) will flash whilst the music is playing.
6. To pause the music, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON (9) again.
7. In Play Mode, press the SKIP+(8) / SKIP-(4)BUTTON once or
repeatedly until the desired track has been found.
8. To stop playing the music stored on the USB device/Flash Drive, press the PLAY/PAUSE BUTTON
(9). AT THIS STAGE, DO NOT DISCONNECT THE USB DEVICE/FLASH DRIVE!
9. Before disconnecting the USB device/Flash Drive, switch the main unit off first by pressing the POWER
ON/OFF button (13) to OFF – the Red LED light will go out. Unplug the device from the USB Socket
by pulling it out straight.
