search setting
: provides access to the configuration menus of your clock radio.

strong signal only
: searches only stations with a strong signal.

: allows you to search for all available radio stations.
audio setting
: provides access to the configuration menus of your clock radio.

: selects the stereo broadcast.

force mono
: allows you to select mono broadcasting.
system
: provides access to the configuration menus of your clock radio. This menu is
common for DAB radio and FM radio (see page 22 for more details).
bluetooth*connection
1.
Press the
button several times until the BLUETOOTH source is selected. A beep
sounds, then "BLUETOOTH" flashes rapidly on the screen. The clock radio is ready to
be paired.
2.
Access the Bluetooth* menu of your audio source to start searching for devices. Refer to
the manual for your audio source for more details about searching for Bluetooth* devices.
3.
Your clock radio appears in the list of devices under the name of Essb_RRV-300DAB+.
4.
An audible signal sounds and "BLUETOOTH" is displayed without flashing.
5.
Your audio source is now paired with the clock radio.
When the clock radio is switched off and then on again, it automatically tries to re-establish
the link with the connected source.

To ensure that your device is automatically detected the next time you use it,
please do not interrupt the pairing procedure.
How the clock radio buttons work
Your clock radio allows you to control the bluetooth* -connected audio source (if it is AVRCP
compatible), using the buttons on the top of the device. These buttons are not active when
using the auxiliary input.
Press the
button to start or pause playback.
Press the
or
buttons to go to the previous or next track.
To increase the volume, press the
button.
To decrease the volume, press the
button.
Detectingincomingcalls
The clock radio, connected to a mobile phone via Bluetooth*, detects incoming and outgoing
calls. When a call is received or dialled, the clock radio emits a ringing tone and pauses music
playback. Use your smartphone to pick up or hang up.
When the call ends, the clock radio will resume playing the music from where it left off.
Disconnecting the bluetooth* function
If you want to disconnect your clock radio to pair it with a new audio source, press and hold
the
button for 3 seconds, then restart the pairing procedure with the audio source you
want to pair.
