Intended Use
 The device serves as a night light with an automatic or
manual activation of the light. It is to be used indoors in
a closed, dry place, at normal room temperature. The
product is intended for use in the private domain and is
not suitable for commercial use.
 The product is intended for operation in a wall socket
(230 V~, 50 Hz) and is operated as a night light.
 The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
 Any use other than that described above may damage
the product. Moreover, this may give rise to hazards
such as short-circuiting, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part
of the product may be modified or converted!
Getting started
 Insert the night light into a wall-mounted mains socket.
Do not use an extension cable. The small, round bright-
ness sensor (3) should point downwards. Objects or
furniture should not be placed in front of the night light
or near it. Light reflections may lead to failures of the
brightness sensor.
 Before inserting the night light into a mains socket, use
the mode selection switch (6) to choose the desired
function.
ON: The device is switched on, the LEDs of the front
light (1) and back light (5) are always on.
 AUTO: This function is a combination of the integrated
motion sensor (2) and the brightness sensor (3). The
