To stop playback
Press the STOP button(H ) to stop
playback.

To suspend playback temporarily
(pause mode)
Press the PAUSE button. Playback stops
at the current position. To resume
playback, press the PAUSE button or
PLAY button(horG).

Tape Counter
The tape counter counts up when the
tape is moving forward and down when
the tape is being rewound. The display
can be cleared by pressing the COUNTER
CLEAR button, which resets the counter
index to "0000".

RTZ (Return To Zero) Function
By pressing the RTZ (Return To Zero)
button, the tape will locate the "0000"
point and stop.
The RTZ function does not work when the
tape counter indicates a number
between "9996" and "0004".

Fast forward and rewind
Press the mor, button.
Press the STOP button(H) to stop the fast
forward or rewind operation.

Pitch Control
You can change the tape speed during
playback, allowing you to change the
pitch of the reproduced sound.
By turning the PITCH CONTROL to the
right, the tape speed becomes faster,
resulting in higher pitch. By turning it to
the left, the tape speed becomes slower,
resulting in lower pitch.
At the fully clockwise position, the tape
speed is approx. 12% faster .
At the fully counter-clockwise position,
the tape speed is approx. 12% slower.
Returning the PITCH CONTROL to the
center position is required to set the
machine to standard 1-7/8 inch/second
speed.

A
Pour arrêter la lecture
Appuyez sur la touche STOP(H) pour
arrêter la lecture.

Pour arrêter provisoirement la lecture du
disque en cours (mode pause)
Appuyez sur la touche PAUSE. La lecture
s'arrête à l'endroit atteint. Pour
reprendre la lecture, appuyez sur la
touche PAUSE ou sur la touche
PLAY(houG).

Compteur de bande
L'indication du compteur augmente
quand la bande défile vers l'avant et elle
diminue quand la bande est rembobinée.
La touche COUNTER CLEAR permet de
ramener l'affichage à "0000".

Retour au point zéro (RTZ)
En appuyant sur la touche RTZ (retour au
point zéro), le lecteur localise le point
"0000" sur la bande.
La fonction RTZ n'agit pas quand le
compteur indique un nombre entre "9996"
et "0004".

Avance rapide et rembobinage
Appuyez sur la touche mou, .
Pour arrêter l'avance rapide ou le
rembobinage, appuyez sur la touche
STOP(H).

Réglage de l'acuité du son
La vitesse de la bande pendant la lecture
peut être changée, ce qui permet de
modifier l'acuité du son.
En tournant le bouton PITCH CONTROL
vers la droite, la vitesse de la bande
augmente et le son devient plus aigu. En
le tournant vers la gauche, la vitesse
diminue et le son devient plus grave.
A l'extrême droite, la vitesse de la bande
augmente de 12% environ.
A l'extrême gauche, la vitesse de la
bande augmente de 12% environ.
