As the end consumer you are legally required to return used batteries. It is prohibited to dis-
pose

rechargeable
batteries
with
Keep all batteries out of children's reach!
Leaky or damaged batteries can cause caustic burns. Therefore if you must handle the bat-
teries, use suitable protective gloves. Do not short circuit batteries or throw them into the
fire. Risk of explosion!
Normal batteries may not be recharged. Risk of explosion!
With extended periods of non-use (e.g. for storage) remove the installed batteries.
You can thus prevent damage to the device due to leaking old batteries.

GEV technical guarantee
GEV products are tested according to applicable regulations and are manufactured with the
greatest care. GEV's technical guarantee covers a period of 24 months following purchase of the
device by the consumer.

If the guarantee claim is valid, GEV will rectify or exchange the device, at their own option, wit-
hin a reasonable period of time. If the guarantee claim is not valid (e.g. because the guarantee
period has elapsed or because the fault is outside the scope of the guarantee) GEV will attempt
to carry out an economical repair of the device.
During the first six months following the purchase, any device that is subject to complaint can
be returned to the dealer, who can exchange it, provided that it is in good visual order.
The guarantee liability does not refer to natural wear and tear, changes brought about by envi-
ronmental influences or transport damage, nor does it cover damage that has arisen as a con-
sequence of failure to observe the assembly instructions or through installing it in a manner that
conflicts with VDE guidelines. LEDs, batteries and accumulators that are also supplied are exclu-
ded from the guarantee. GEV are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, nor for mone-
tary loss.
