Cutting instructions

1.
Always place the food on a wooden or plastic chopping board.
2.
Do not cut on porcelain, metal or tabletops as scratches may be caused.
3.
Slide the blade through the food.
4.
Do not turn the blades through the curring material.
5.
In order to retain the knife sharpness, do not cut through bones, fruit stones,
stones or other hard substances.
6.
For best results when slicing meat and chicken meat, let the cooked meat to
rest for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting to permit the juice to remove making
cutting easier and cleaner.
7.
When requested, string around the meat may be left around when cutting.
8.
In order to stabilise the meat when cutting, use a carving fork.
9.
Do not try to sharpen the blades.
10. When cutting food, such as bread, we recommend to apply a bit of oil (edible
oil, margarine or similar) to the inside of the blade in order to reduce the fric-
tion.

Cleaning and maintenance

Danger of injury!
Inexpert cleaning may lead to injuries.
- Switch the unit off before cleaning and pull the power cord from the
electric socket.
- Let the unit cool down before cleaning.
- Proceed with caution when cleaning the knife blades.

Cleaning the unit

1.
Use a soft and moist cloth to clean the outer surfaces of the unit. Use a mild
detergent in case of heavy soiling.
2.
Clean the unit and knife blade directly after use.
The unit is not suitable for dishwashers. Do not hold the unit into running water or
immerse in water.
