Remove the battery pack by pressing the release button on the battery pack and by pulling the

Hold the back section of the chuck and rotate the front section of the chuck(unlock direction)

Insert the drill bit / screwdriver bit into the chuck.
Tighten the chuck by hand(Hold the back section of the chuck and rotate the front section
Select the correct screwdriver bit to avoid damaging the screw when screwing function.
