Connecting the gas tank
• Caution: Use only a suitable regulator certified to
EN16129
– Turn all rotating regulators on the grill body to the
OFF position.
– Check whether the gas tank valve (6) is closed.
– Undo the safety cap from the tank connection
thread (7).
– Check all seals for damages. Do not install addi-
tional seals.
– Screw the coupling nut (2) of the pressure regula-
tor (3) by hand in an anti-clockwise direction onto
the tank connection thread (left thread).
Checking the seals
– Brush soap solution onto the coupling nut (2) and
connection thread (4) of the hose (5) and examine
for bubble formation.
The connections are sealed correctly if no bubbles form.
DANGER! Explosion hazard! Carrying out a
check of the seals using naked flames is strictly
forbidden!
Comply with all safety instructions when han-
dling gas!
When checking for leaks, ensure that there are
no sources of ignition in the vicinity. Do not
smoke!
Porous or damaged hoses and fittings must be
replaced.
Operation
DANGER! Risk of burning! Wear BBQ
gloves and appropriate clothing.
DANGER! Risk of cuts Every care has been
taken at the factory to ensure that there are no
sharp edges on this unit. Be careful when han-
dling the individual components of this unit to
prevent accidents and injuries when assem-
bling and starting up the unit.
Check before use!
Check to make sure the device is in a safe operating
condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible defects.
– Check to make sure all device components are cor-
rectly mounted.
– Check all gas connections for leaks.
– Check that all regulators are set to OFF.
– Open the grill hood fully.
Lighting
DANGER! Risk of burning injury due to
potential grease fire! A grease fire may result
in serious property damage and personal inju-
ries.
Before use, check the removable grease trap
and collection tray for grease.
Remove excess grease to prevent grease
fires.
DANGER! Risk of burning! Always open the
hood fully before igniting.
Do not lean over the grilling area!
Before igniting
– Open the hood of the BBQ grill fully.

Setting the flame height
Flames that are too large and flicker, as well as flames
with yellow tips signalise that the burner nozzles are
contaminated.
Grilling
– Clean the grilling surface thoroughly.
– Fully open the tank valve.
– Press the left rotating regulator and set to "large
flame" and, at the same time, pressure the ignition
button.
– Press the ignition button repeatedly until the gas
lights.
– If ignition does not occur, set the burner to OFF and
repeat.
– If the burner does not ignite after three attempts,
close the tank valve and wait 5 minutes for the col-
lected gas to disperse.
– Press the right rotating regulator and turn in the
direction of the "large flame" to light the right burner.
– Fully open the tank valve.
– Press the relevant rotating regulator and set to
"large flame" and, at the same time, feed a lit match
that is as long as possible through the hole in the
side of the grill basin.
– To ignite the other burner, press the rotating regula-
tor and set to "large flame". The flame will transfer of
its own accord.
• Turn the regulator anti-clockwise = small flame
• Turn the regulator clockwise = large flame
– Turn the regulator clockwise as far as it will go to
switch off the relevant burner.
– Fully close the tank valve.
– Operate the grill for 30 minutes on the highest level
(without food) before you use it to remove any pro-
duction residue.
DANGER! Risk of burning! When the grill
hood is close, never use more than two burners
on the highest setting at the same time.
