Press the LED test button

for 20 seconds until the alarm sounds. During
this process the detector first tests itself electronically and then mechanically
simulates smoke penetrating the smoke chamber. When working properly the
alarm is loud and intermittent.
The test should be carried out once a month and each time the battery is repla-
ced. Vacuum clean the detector at least once a year. The device carries out an
auto battery test every 45 seconds - this is indicated by the LED
flashing briefly. If the battery charge falls below the minimum value, the
device beeps once a minute for up to 30 days to remind you to replace the
battery.

Wireless transmission
Instead of using the cable use the FlammEx professional wireless,
transmission and receiver module 443 MHz (accessory) or set up a FlammEx
profi wireless system with a receiver unit (accessory) with the FlammEx
wireless receiver module.
Your profi supplier can advise you on the various options.
Please note:
• Ensure that the battery is correctly fitted in the device (+ /- )
• Test the device each time the batteries are replaced
• Smoke detectors do not replace the need for insurance
• During deep sleep, or if under the influence of alcohol or drugs it is
possible that the alarm will not wake the sleeper
• In rooms over 80 m
2
or in hallways longer than 10 m it is advisable to
install more than one detector
• Do not put used batteries in the dustbin. They should be taken to a
supplier who will have them recycled
• In the event of technical problems please contact the manufacturer or your
specialist supplier
