Safety instructions
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage in the following cases:
 Damage to the product resulting from mechanical influences
 Alterations to the product without express permission from the manu-
facturer
 Use for purposes other than those described in the operating manual
2.1

General safety

WARNING!

 Never pull the plug out of the socket by the connection cable.
 If the connection cable is damaged, you must replace it to avoid
hazards.
 Do not leave the connection cable dangling and do not lay it
over edges or corners.
 Disconnect the connection cable
– before cleaning and maintenance.
– in the event of faults.
– if the power supply line of the coffee maker is damaged.
– if the appliance is not working properly.
 Do not stand the appliance on hot surfaces and avoid any prox-
imity to naked flame.
 Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
 Store all unattached parts of the appliance before starting your
journey.
 Never fill up water into the appliance when it is hot. Turn the ap-
pliance off and leave it to cool down for approx. 10 mins.
 This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Im-
proper repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
Should your appliance need to be repaired, please contact cus-
tomer services.
