2| Device description
The TwinLux Dual is a mains-independent, portable device with a
built-in battery. It is used to cure the following light-curing materials:

– HyCeram Bond II or Bond THX NF materials
– LuxArt ® design composite
– Luxon ® design acrylate

Two high-efficiency Royal Blue LED diodes with a wavelength range
of 425 - 470 nm (peak 450 nm) are used as light sources.
One UV LED diode with a wavelength range of 350 - 375 nm
(peak 365 nm) is also used.
The total radiant power is 1.5 W.
This means that the entire LED light spectrum emitted by TwinLux
Dual is used to full effect in the activation of the HyCeram
®
Bond THX NF, LuxArt or Luxon
polymerisation results with low energy consumption and minimal
heat loss.
The LED light sources can be switched on and off using the multi-
function button (4).
