Introduction
.
This new Philips Duometricks Straight has been specially designed to give
beautiful results in a controlled and gentle way. The micro-glide structure of
the straightening plates increases the grip on your hair, offering you greater
control over the process of straightening. The removable comb attachment
guides the straightener through the hair optimally. The steam function
allows you to straighten your hair in a gentle way to give it a healthy and
shiny look. With the crimper plates you can add texture to your hair to
create an interesting look.

The removable comb will guide the straightener through the hair more

The appliance can be used with or without water.

Insert the plug into the wall socket.
There is a ready dot on the appliance. When the appliance has

2
While the appliance is heating up, comb or brush your hair so that it
is disentangled and smooth. Use a comb to divide the hair into locks.
Do not put too much hair in one lock (fig. 6).
3
To straighten your hair, take an approx. 2-inch (5 cm) wide lock of
hair, place it between the micro-glide plates and press the handles of
the appliance together. Start straightening at the roots (fig. 7).

Keep the crimper plates in position for 5 seconds and then release your
pressure on the handles to allow the hair to slip out from between the

your hair to cool down. Do not comb or brush it, as this would ruin
the hairstyle you have just created.
