Do not use abrasive cleaners. Do not put the toaster, cord or plug in water. Make sure
the crumb tray is locked in position on the bottom of the toaster and the toasting lever is
in the UP position. Unwrap power cord and plug into a suitable electrical outlet. Turn the
browning control knob to 1, the lightest setting. Lower the toasting lever until it locks in
place. Operate without bread once or twice to burn off any manufacturing residue. You
may notice a slight amount of smoke - this is normal and will stop as the heating
elements continue to heat.
TOASTING BREAD
Place the toaster in an upright position on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
Ensure the toaster is connected into an appropriate electrical outlet and switched "on".
Insert one or two slices of bread into the toasting slots and press down the toasting lever
until it latches.
Adjust the browning control to your desired setting.
The toaster will heat up immediately and start toasting.
To stop toasting, press the cancel button at any time you wish to interrupt toasting.
When toasting has finished, the toasting lever will rise automatically. The toast may now
be removed safely.
DEFROSTING BREAD
Place the bread inside the toasting slots.
Set the browning control to your desired setting.
Press the toasting lever down until it latches and then press the "defrost" button.
The indicator light will go on indicating that the bread is now defrosting.
The toasting lever will automatically rise at the end of the defrosting cycle.
Remove your perfectly defrosted toast.
REHEATING BREAD
Set the browning control to a low setting.
Place the bread inside the toasting slots.
Press the toasting lever down until it latches and then press the "reheat" button.
The indicator light will go indicating that the bread is reheating.
The toasting lever will automatically rise at the end of the warming cycle.
Remove your perfectly warm toast.
