Installing the Battery
You can use 6 x AA batteries by opening the AA battery cover and inserting the batteries inside or
alternatively, use a Sony Li-ion battery NP-570 to power the LED light. To install the AA Batteries
please open the battery cover by pressing the locking device, insert the batteries as inside shown
and close the cover. The Li-Ion battery has to be placed by opening the battery cover a little bit.
After that insert the Li-Ion battery just in front of the metal contact, push forward and be sure the
battery is locked in place. At least the battery cover has to be closed and a 'click' sound will be
shown the battery and cover are locked.
Removing the Battery
To remove the Li-Ion battery, press the thumb catch on the unit at the rear of the Li-Ion battery and
open the cover a bit. Then push back the battery about 1/4 inch.
The AA batteries have to be removed by opening the battery cover.
Adjusting the Brightness
The knob at the top right hand corner at the back of the LED unit controls the power on/off and
brightness of the LEDs, rotate clockwise to increase the power of the LEDs, and anti-clockwise to
dim and switch off the LEDs.
Adjusting the Color Temperature

The 2 knob at the top right hand corner at the back of the LED unit controls the color temperature
of the LEDs, rotate clockwise to decrease the color temperature, and anti-clockwise to increase the
color temperature. The color temperature ranges from 3000K to 6000K.
Using the Hotshoe Adapter
Insert the Hotshoe Adapter into the camera hotshoe. Please fix the Hotshoe of RPL 210-VCT by
turning the threaded ring till LED Video Light is well fixed. To adjust the inclination of the RPL 210-
VCT please use the adjusting screw. After adjustment please take care that the RPL 210-VCT is
well fixed onto the camera or Video camera before using.
Using the Barndoor
To control the direction of the light, you can attach
the magnetic barndoor directly in front of the unit. It
will simply snap onto the magnets, just like the soft
diffuser.
Using the Soft Diffuser
To soften the light, you can align the magnetic soft
diffuser directly in front of the LED light. It will simply
snap onto the magnets in front of the unit.
