Use
Position the fan heater so that it stands
vertically on a fi rm surface and at a safe
distance from wet environments and
fl ammable objects.
Connect the fan heater to the mains.
Set the thermostat dial (2) to the maximum
temperature.
The fan heater comes on when the function
selector (3) is set to circulation without heat
(B/F), 1,000 W fan heating (C/G) or 2,000 W
fan heating (D/H), with or without oscillation.

The indicator light (1) comes on when the fan
heater is running.
Once the room reaches the required
temperature, you should turn the thermostat
dial anticlockwise until the fan heater
switches off with a little click. The fan heater
now starts and stops automatically, thus
keeping the room temperature constant.
Switch the fan heater off by turning the
function selector to 0 (A/E).

Note! The fan speed is constant and
independent of the thermostat setting.
During the fi rst few minutes of operation, the
fan heater may give off a slight smell. This is
normal and will soon pass.
Safety devices
The fan heater has a built-in thermal safety
device which automatically switches the
fan off if it overheats. The fan can only be
switched back on once it has cooled.
The fan heater has a built-in topple cut-out
which automatically switches the fan off if it
tilts or topples over. Place the fan heater on
its feet to turn it back on.
Cleaning
Wipe the fan heater regularly with a well-
wrung cloth, and always keep the exhaust
grille and intake grille free of dirt.
Never use corrosive or abrasive detergents,
as they may aff ect the plastic parts on the fan
heater.
