damage to, this plumbing product caused by its use in toilet tanks containing
high concentrations of chlorine or chlorine-related products.
1. Shut off water supply and flush toilet to drain water from tank. Remove
remaining water with a sponge.
2. Remove old tank ball (or flapper), wire guides, etc.
3. If old drain seat is brass, clean with steel wool or wet/dry sandpaper
(Fig. 1), rinse, then wipe clean and dry thoroughly with a hair dryer.
CAUTION: DO NOT DIRECT HOT AIR AT SAME SPOT FOR EXTENDED
PERIODS.
4. Remove paper from one side of sealant ring. Center exposed sealant
onto very top surface of clean drain opening. Apply light pressure.
5. Before removing paper from other side of sealant ring, determine position

of Flusher Fixer on drain seat, as illustrated in Fig. 2 & 3. Be sure that tank
ball can fully open and pivot freely when chain is lifted. Chain should pull
straight up or angle back toward the tank ball hinge. If drain seat is slanted,
the tank ball hinge should be positioned in the preferred area, marked "A" in
Fig. 3. Avoid area marked "NO". If located in area marked "B", it may be
necessary to trim stop tabs on frame (Fig. 4). This will increase the time
flapper stays open.
6. Remove remaining paper from sealant ring and place Flusher Fixer over
sealant ring. Apply firm pressure to properly seal.
7. With the tank ball in closed position and toilet tank trip lever down, connect
"Chain Attachment Clip" to the hole of the trip lever, ensuring a slight slack in
the chain, as illustrated in Fig. 5.
8. Turn water on and check flush. Adjust chain as necessary to achieve proper

operation of Flusher Fixer, and then trim off excess chain.
Note: The "Timing Cup" on this product holds the tank ball open long enough
to drain all water from toilet tanks that are 3.5 gallons or smaller. If it is
necessary to increase timing for a longer flush, clip off plug from under
"Timing Cup" and push into any one of four holes in the bottom of the Cup.
Repeat for remaining two plugs if a longer flush is needed. For tanks with a
capacity larger than 3.5 gallons, the "Timing Cup" is not needed and should
be removed to conserve water (Fig. 6). To remove, slightly pull one side of the
frame out, then pull cup off.
