Montagehinweis bei der Überwa-
chung von problematischen Medien
Bei der Überwachung von schlecht-
wärmeleitenden Medien (z. B. verschie-
dene Öle, Flüssigkeiten mit hohem Fest-
stoffanteil) und in Prozessen mit schnellen
Temperaturänderungen ist auf einen
gerichteten Einbau zu achten:
Bei Kompaktgeräten sollte der Stecker
bzw. die Kabelverschraubung rechtwink-
lig zur Strömungsrichtung ausgerichtet
werden.
Zusätzliche Hinweise für die Montage
von analogen Strömungssensoren
Bei der Montage analoger Strömungs-
sensoren ist auf einen gerichteten Einbau
zu achten.
Einstellhinweise Schaltausgang:
Abgleich bei ruhendem Medium:
1. Sensor in den Strömungskanal
einbauen, das Gerät einschalten
und Bereitschaftszeit abwarten.
2. Potentiometer so einstellen, dass
die rote LED gerade aufl euchtet.
3. Beim Einsetzen der Strömung
sollte mindestens eine grüne LED
leuchten.
Abgleich bei strömenden Medium:
1. Sensor in den Strömungskanal
einbauen, Strömung vorgeben und
das Gerät einschalten. Bereit-
schaftszeit abwarten.
2. Potentiometer so einstellen, dass
eine oder zwei grüne LEDs leuchten.
3. Beim Ausfall der Strömung muss
nun die rote LED leuchten.

Mounting instructions for monitoring
of problematic media
When monitoring media with a low
thermal conductivity (e. g. some kinds of
oils, liquids with a high fat content) and in
processes where rapid changes of
temperature occur, the sensor position
with regard to the fl ow direction must be
observed:
With self-contained devices the
connector or the cable connector must
be positioned in right angles to the fl ow
direction.
Instructions for mounting of analogue
fl ow sensors
When installing analogue fl ow sensors,
a certain mounting position must be ob-
served.
Switching output adjustment:
Adjustment with medium at rest:
1. Install the sensor in the fl ow chan
nel, switch on the device and wait
until the standby time has elapsed.
2. Adjust the potentiometer until the
red LED just starts to light up..
3. At least one green LED should light
when the fl ow starts.
Adjustment with fl owing medium:
1. Install the sensor in the fl ow chan
nel, set the fl ow and switch on the
device. Wait until the standby time
has elapsed.
2. Set the potentiometer so that one
or two green LEDs light up.
3. As soon as the fl ow stops the red
LED must now light.
Instructions de montage lors du con-
trôle de milieux problématiques
Lors du contrôle de fl uides ayant une
mauvaise conductivité thermique (p.ex.
différentes huiles, fl uides ayant
un taux de graisses élevé) et dans des
processus avec des variations de tempé-
rature rapides il est nécessaire de respec-
ter les instructions de montage suivantes:
Le connecteur ou le presse-étoupe
des appareils compacts doit être
aligné perpendiculairement par
rapport au sens d'écoulement.

Lors du montage de détecteurs de débit
analogiques, un montage orienté est à
respecter.

Réglage de la sortie de commutation:
Réglage en cas de milieu statique:
1. Monter le détecteur dans le tuyau,
enclencher l'appareil et attendre la
durée de stabilisation avant
indication.
2. Régler le potentiomètre de manière
que la LED rouge s'allume.
3. Dès que le milieu commence à
couler, au moins une LED verte doit
s'allumer.
Réglage en cas de milieu circulant:
1. Monter le détecteur dans le tuyau,
programmer le débit et enclencher
l'appareil. Attendre le la durée de
stabilisation avant indication.
2. Régler le potentiomètre de manière
qu'une ou deux LED vertes
s'allument.
3. En cas d'arrêt du débit, seule la
LED rouge doit s'allumer.
