• Transfer a small amount of solvent into the clean paint container and restore it to the gun.
• Connect the gun to the air supply.
• Direct the gun towards an empty container and spray the solvent through the gun into the
container, until the spray is clear of any paint.
• Turn off the air supply and disconnect the gun.
• Release the paint container, empty remaining solvent into the disposal container, and let all
components dry thoroughly.
• Restore paint container for storage.
6.2- Cleaning of nozzles and needles
• WARNING! The precision-made nozzles and needles must be handled with care. Damage
and alterations will result in deteriored performance or faulty spray.
• WARNING! Needles have a sharp point. Handle with care to avoid puncture wounds and
other injuries.
• Refer to Figure 2 for assembly diagram, carefully disassemble the spray gun, remove the
nozzle assembly and fluid control needle.
• Soak the nozzles and needle in a suitable solvent that dissolves any dried material and clean
with a suitable soft brush.
• NOTE: Never soak the entire spray gun in solvent, as this will damage the packings and
remove lubrication.
• Carefully blow all components to dry with filtered compressed air.
6.3- Lubrication
• Slightly lubricate all packings, bearings and dynamic O-rings with a specialised spray gun
lube, and apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to springs.
6.4- Storage
• Clean the product before storage.
• Keep product, instruction manual and accessories (if any) in the original packaging.
• Store the product in a clean environment, where is not freezing or too hot (exceed 50 ̊ C ).
• Keep out of reach of children (e.g. lock it up).
6.5- Disposal
• Dispose of spent solvent and surplus paint according to the manufacturer's directions and
local hazardous waste standards.
• Do not dispose of the air tool with household garbage. Do not throw into the environment.
• Proceed with disposal of the tool, accessories and packaging according to local regulations
regarding the protection of the environment.
