Automatic Defrosting; Overload Protection - Mc Haus artic-40 Mode D'emploi

OPERATION
1. Mode COOL:
• When the device is on or the timer is activated, press MODE repeatedly until the COOL mode is
selected. At this time the mode indicator light is displayed.
• Press ▲/▼ to set the appropriate temperature in the range of 16-32°C.
• Press the SPEED key to choose the High/Low speed.
2. Mode FAN:
• When the device is on or the timer is activated, press MODE to select FAN mode. At this time the
corresponding indicator light will be activated.
• Press the SPEED key to select the High/Low speed.
• In FAN mode, the air in the room is circulated but not cooled.
3. Mode DRY:
• When the device is on or the timer is activated, press MODE to select the DRY mode. At this time
the corresponding indicator light will be activated.
• The temperature and speed are not adjustable.
• The user must connect the hose to the drainage outlet on the bottom of the unit.
4. Mode SLEEP:
• It can be activated when in COOL mode.
• In COOL mode: After 1 hour the preset temperature is increased by 1°C, after another hour it will
be increased by 1°C again.
5. Mode TIMER:
• In standby mode, press the TIMER button to set the power on time. Press the ▲ and ▼ keys to set
the switch-on time (0~24H).
• In the ON state, press the TIMER key to set the switch-off time. Press the ▲ and ▼ keys to set the
time (0~24H).
• To cancel the timer press ▲ and ▼ repeatedly until the timer shows "00". Pressing POWER also
exits the timer setting.

AUTOMATIC DEFROSTING

At low ambient temperatures, frost can build up on the evaporator during operation. When this happens the unit will
start defrosting automatically and the POWER LED will flash.
• When the unit operates in COOL, DRY mode, the ambient temperature sensor detects that the
evaporator coil temperature is less than -1°C, after the compressor stops running for 10 minutes
or the coil temperature rises to 7°C, the unit resumes the refrigeration operation mode.
• When the unit operates in DRY operation, once the coil temperature sensor detects that the
evaporator temperature is below 40°C and the differential between the coil temperature and
ambient temperature is below 19°C, after the compressor runs for 20 minutes, the unit begins
defrosting for 5 minutes and the POWER indicator flashes.

OVERLOAD PROTECTION

In case of power loss, to protect the compressor there is a 3 minute stop until the compressor starts again.
