Getting started

First, the wing must be mounted on the fuselage. To do this, remove the canopy. The canopy is held in place
by small magnets and can be removed with a slight jerk upwards. First insert the connector of the aileron

servo mounted in the wing to the intended, still empty slot on the receiver (1).
WARNING: The servo connector is polarized. Check the side channels. Do not use force - fire or
explosion hazard!
Then slide the wing with the front side under the hull top (2) and fix it with the screw (3).

Battery charging

WARNING: Be sure to read all safety instructions regarding the use of rechargeable batteries. Charging
may take place only with the supplied charger on a fireproof surface and under constant adult supervision -
fire or explosion hazard!
• Connect the USB cable to a PC or a compatible USB power supply. Connect the plane battery with the
charger.
• WARNING: the plane battery is polarized. Check the side channels. Do not use force - fire or
explosion hazard!
• The red LED in the USB connector lights up to indicate charging. Charging time is about 90 minutes. If
the battery is fully charged, the red LED goes out.
• Unplug the battery and the USB cable.
The flight time is about 10-12 minutes.

The remote control system

Here you get an overview of the remote control system of your XciteRC FunSky and its various features
and settings. Before the first flight, you should absolutely have read and understood all these functions and
settings.
• Do make sure that the transmitter is turned off - POWER-LED off.
• Now open the battery compartment cover on the backside of the transmitter. Slide the cover down and
insert six size AA Alkaline batteries.
• WARNING: pay attention to the correct polarity - fire or explosion hazard!
