Tool Preparation Work
Assemble F8376601 Puller Yoke components. Refer to Figure
2 andFigure 3 .
a. Using a block of wood and hammer, pound one (1) of the
two (2) Thrust Bearings (the second is a spare) into the
Bearing Retainer. Refer to Figure 2 .
IMPORTANT: The side of the Thrust Bearings
with writing must be facing up.

b. Once one (1) of the Thrust Bearings is flush with the top
of the Bearing Retainer, use a small rubber mallet to con-
tinue pounding so it sits flush with the underside of the
Bearing Retainer.
c. NOTE: To avoid damage, DO NOT use a metal
hammer to pound directly on the Thrust Bear-
ings.
Insert one (1) of the two (2) Bearing Bushings (second is a
spare) over the top of the one (1) of two (2) Thrust Bear-
ings installed on Step 1.b. Refer to Figure 3 .
d. Attach the Bearing Retainer to the Puller Yoke with the
two (2) Screws. Refer to Figure 3 .

e. Verify the one (1) of the two (2) Bearing Bushings instal-
led in Step 1.b spins freely inside the Bearing Retainer.
