3 CONDENSING UNIT INSTALLATION
3-1 PLACE OF INSTALLATION
The place of installation must be agreed with the
customer, paying attention to the following points:
•
The equipment must be placed in a technical
room of adequate size and in compliance with
the regulations in force in the countries where it
will be installed.
•
The condensing unit must not be installed
outdoors.
•
The surface on which it will be placed must
be able to support its weight, the vibration-
damping feet of the machine MUST NOT
BE DISASSEMBLED except for the use of
spring antivibration mounts for wall bracket
installations.
The PARKAIR condensing unit MUST BE INSTALLED in an accessible position for any technical
interventions in safety, otherwise the CAT (Technical Assistance Centers) will be able to refuse the
intervention. The unit has been designed and built to be installed internally, therefore an external
installation is not recommended to avoid damage to the hydraulic and electrical circuit.
IT IS MANDATORY TO USE THE SUPPLIED "Y" FILTER (mesh ≤ 500 micron).
3-1 MINIMUM DISTANCES TO BE RESPECTED
•
The front panel must be open to inspection,
therefore the front space must be such as
to allow all the operations necessary during
installation,
maintenance
(checks, adjustments, refrigerant charge).
•
In case of multiple installations (2 or more MCW)
DO NOT OVERLAP the condensers.
•
The installation must allow specialized and
authorized personnel to be able to intervene,
in the event of maintenance, easily, respecting
both the safety distances between the units and
the other equipment and the technical spaces
indicated below:
