Please have an authorized POWERSTROKE dealer modify this engine if it is to be run continuously 3000 ˜ 6000 feet (900 ˜ 1800 meters),
and 6000 ˜ 8000 feet (1800 ˜ 2400 meters). Failure to do so may result in poor engine performance, spark plug fouling, hard starting,
and increased emissions.
Carburetor modification by an authorized POWERSTROKE dealer will improve performance and allow that this engine meets EPA
(Environmental Protection Agency) and California ARB (Air Resources Board) emission standards throughout its useful life.
An engine converted for high altitudes cannot be run at 3000 feet (900 meters) or lower. In doing so, the engine will overheat and
cause serious engine damage.
Please have an authorized POWERSTROKE dealer restore high altitude modified engines to the original factory specification before
operating below 3000 feet (900 meters).
