12.2 Environmentally friendly
handling of wastewater and the
spraying agents

The cleaning of products where the
waste water will contain oil, for example
when washing vehicles, the undersides
of vehicles or engines may only be done
on washing areas with an oil separator.

Foaming agents that are hazardous for
the environment should be applied as
close as possible to the object in ques-
tion (specific dosing), any unavoidable
residues are to be collected in suitable
containers for temporary storage and
disposed of as designated special waste.
Only clean on work surfaces that are
watertight. Comply with local laws
regarding water contamination when
using liquids that are a hazard to the
groundwater (in Germany, the Water
Resources Law, or WHG). Comply with

12.3 Battery disposal

As a consumer, you or the disposal compa-
ny such as municipal collection points,
required by law to dispose of used batteries
and charger as hazardous waste.
CAUTION

The applied battery contains substances
that can result in injuries when getting in
contact with skin or when inhaled.
Should your device have a drained bat-
tery, you must use rubber gloves to
remove it from the device and properly
dispose of it in a closed container.

According to the European Directive
2013/56/EU, faulty batteries must be col-
lected separately and reused or recycled
in an environmentally friendly manner.
Disposal possibilities are as follows:
– by dealer
– at a GRS recycling centre
– in special waste containers provided by
the communities
Obtain additional disposal information
from your community or city.

12.4 Devise transport


The contained lithium-ion batteries are
subject to the Dangerous Goods Legisla-
tion requirements. The device is suitable
for roadtransport by the user without fur-
ther restrictions. When shipping by third
parties (e.g.: by air transport or forwarding
agency), special requirements on packag-
ing and labelling must be observed.
Dispatch the devise only when the housing
is undamaged. Please also observe the pos-
sibility of more detailed national regulations.

12.5 Disposal of packaging


The packaging materials have been
selected according to environment ally-
suitable and disposal-related aspects and
are therefore recyclable. Returning the
packaging to the material circulation
saves raw materials and reduces the level
of waste.

Please dispose of unwanted pack aging
materials according to applicable local
regulations.
