Lifting the vehicle
•
Position the vehicle on the lifting platform.
Avoid uneven load distribution, do not overload the platform, use suitable pick-up elements
•
with a non-slip or form-fitting surface, only pick up at specified points on the vehicle.
•
Check the function of the roll-off safety devices or the swivel arm safety devices in all
directions.
Only lift if no persons are endangered.
•
Work on the lifted vehicle
Depending on the work involved, select and wear personal protective
•
equipment. (e.g. hot surfaces)
Watch out for hot parts.
•
•
Dismantling components can change the load distribution: if necessary, secure the vehicle
against tipping.
Only use approved assembly supports.
•
Low ering the vehicle
•
Remove tools and other objects from the danger zone.
Lower only if no persons are endangered.
•
•
Foot deflectors, safety edges or a warning sound after an intermediate stop prevent foot
injuries.
The lifting platform may only be operated by instructed and competent
employees from the age of 18 without supervision.
Response to faults and hazards
Report defects on the machine to the installer or manufacturer.

Switch off the machine and secure against unauthorised restarting.
•
Have damage repaired by qualified personnel only
•
In case of fire, attempt to extinguish the fire
First Aid
Inform first aiders (see alarm/emergency plan)

Treat injuries immediately
•
Enter into the accident book
•
Contact emergency services for serious injuries
M aintenance
•
Repair only by instructed and trained persons
Disconnect or secure the lifting platform from the mains power supply for set-up,
•
adjustment, maintenance or servicing
•
Clean the lifting platform after operation and check the hydraulic level
•
Annual check of the lifting platform by an authorised and trained person
