Description
A serial-communication interface standard used with vending equipment. Allows multiple
devices to be added to a single connection on the vending machine control board by linking
1 device to another that is parallel to the main MDB harness.
A serial executive protocol (or protocol A) that is based on the MEI 20 mA current loop link.
Allows a payment system device to be connected to other third-party devices in a
transaction system.
A German bi-directional serial interface used between component parts inside a vending
machine. This is a super set of protocol A. BDV is an abbreviation for the German Vending
industry committee that has defined the interface.
A serial-communication interface used in Japanese and Korean vending machines. Allows
multiple devices to be added to a single connection on the vending machine control board
by linking 1 device to another that is parallel to the main VCCS harness.
