5.4 Planning of the exhaust and suction lines and outlet for mobile unit with radio remote control
Suction line (DN 50)
– When laid under plaster the pipe connection piece for the suction
line should extend minimum 6 mm into the room.
– The distance between the pipe connection piece and the vacuum
appliance should be max. 1 m.
Electric socket
– The socket outlet with earthing contact (230 V, 16 Amp Europe /
CH 10 Amp) is to be istalled minimum 2 m to max. 5 m
away from where the central vacuum appliance is installed.
– The 2 m minimum distance between suction appliance
and radio receiver unit is to be strictly kept.
Exhaust connection:
The exhaust air flap (DN 100) will have to be adapted on the
site where a DN 70 mm exhaust line is used.

– To reduce system problems, exhaust hoses must be fitted
– All breakthroughs to outdoors to be fitted with an exhaust flap.
– Distance between wall exit and upper edge of central vacuum
appliance, max. 2 m (vertical).
– Distance between wall exit and central vacuum appliance,
max. 5 m (horizontal).
– The exhaust lines are to be laid to within a minimum distance of 1 m to
the central vacuum appliance to make connection of exhaust hoses possible.
– Exhaust lines to be conducted separately or by means of a connec-
tion piece to the outside without reducing the cross section
(min. DN 70/50 mm).
Always lay exhaust line(s) with minimum 2%
decline towards the exhaust flap!
