The central vacuum systems are designed and built for vacuuming household dust in dwelling buildings.

The max. pipe length includes an 8.0 m wireless suction hose. Longer lengths, especially regarding the control line vacuum hose, significantly
reduce the suction performance!

** Repeaters should be planned for buildings with more than three
storeys including basement or for floors in excess of 140 m
size.
The recommended accessory sets for the systems 18-451 and
34-451 include one repeater as standard.
Please consult our technical service department when
using the THOMAS CentraClean in multi-family houses
with either larger ground areas or several storeys.
Important: In the case of cellars made of reinforced concrete
or where radio reflecting building materials have been employed such
as expanded metal mesh and floor heating with metal pipes, this can
have a detrimental influence on the radio-controlled switching on and
off of the vacuum cleaner.

To be deducted from the lengths of piping as stated in the above
2 in table are the following lengths as allowances
for buckling and fittings:
For one 90° bend
For one 45° bend
For two 45° bends
In such cases it may be necessary to use on or more
repeaters. Repeaters can also be used in the equipping of existing
systems.
For this purpose one plug box must be available in the respective
function range of the repeater. As an alternative control cable lines
can be laid for one control cable line connection.
