It is important that if you choose an ACQ treated base for your building, that you use a hot dipped galvanized or stainless steel screws for this purpose that are available at your lumber or hardware store. It is very important that you follow Barrette’s recommendation that the galvalume mounting track be isolated from direct contact with the ACQ chemi- cal by placing a heavy bead of silicone sealer between the track and the treated lumber. - Page 12 Insert a Corner Post CV1 into the rear right corner of the base. Add a WP1 Wall Panel into the base and corner post. The second wall panel will click in place into the first wall panel. You may find it easier to insert the wall panels at an angle so they engage the corner post.
