Use this Miller MightyLite Leading Edge
Self-Retracting Lifeline Instruction
Manual Supplement in conjunction with
the Miller Self-Retracting Lifelines
User Instruction Manual (I267).

All persons using this equipment must
read, understand and follow all instruc-
tions. Failure to do so may result in se-
rious injury or death. Do not use this
equipment unless you are properly
trained.
1.0 Purpose
Miller
MightyLite™
Retracting Lifelines are specially-engineered
retractable units that feature an integral
SofStop® LE Shock Absorber designed for
leading edge applications.

• The allowable angle of redirection of
the lifeline portion of the device at the
edge over which a fall might occur (as
measured between the two sides formed
by the redirected lanyard) shall be at
least 90 degrees.
• The potential for a swing fall must
be minimized for worker and lifeline
protection. The worker must never work
on the far side of an opening, opposite
the anchor point.
