6. Advised technique: Lean over a sink and place the tip in your

mouth. Do not place the unit too far from the sink so you do not
have to pull too hard on the pipe and risk tipping over the device. Do
not place the device on a surface edge to avoid the risk of it falling.
Direct the tip towards the gum line (between the tooth and the gum)
and switch on the appliance using the ON / OFF button (4). For best
results, start with the back teeth and work towards the front teeth.
Project the tip along your gum line and pause briefly between teeth
inside and outside of the upper and lower teeth. Direct the water jet at
a 90° angle to your gums. Close your mouth slightly to prevent water
from spraying outside of your mouth, but allow water to flow freely
from the mouth to the sink. When cleaning is complete, turn off the
device.
7. Use of different tips: The Neosoft ® tip is specially designed to
direct water or antibacterial solutions into the furthest points of
periodontal pockets (gum pockets) or under dental implants. For
the use of this tip, select the lowest pressure on the device. Place
the flexible end of the tip against a tooth, at a 45° angle, and gently
insert the end of the tip under the gum, into the pocket, or between
the implant and the gum. Turn on the dental water jet and continue
moving the tip along the gum.
