STEP 5.
Attach to Bed Rail
Items needed: 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 19,
9/16" wrench (not included)
1. Place two rubber protective strips (#1) down
where you want to place the ladder rack on the
bed rail. Place one complete assembly on the
protective strips on the truck bed rail, sliding the
uprights as needed to fit the bed side to side.
2. Slide two clamps (#7) into the grooves of each
rail leg mounts.
3. Dab bolt threads (#19) with thread locker (#27,
not shown) and thread up through the bottom of
the clamp. Place clamp bolt foot (#8) between
the bolt and underside of the bed rail and tighten
using the 9/16" wrench. Clamp Bolt Foot should
not interfere or rest over any bed rail clips.
4. Center cross member and tighten all gusset
screws to their respective leg and cross member.
5. Place the second set of protective strips on
the bed rail and mount the second complete
assembly to the bed rail repeating steps 5.1
through 5.4. Verify clearance of rear assembly
with tailgate prior to securing rear assembly.
STEP 6.
Insert Foam Strips
Items needed: 18, Scissors (not included)
1. With the rack installed on the truck, cut the foam
strip (#18) into four 21" pieces. With the bulb
facing away from the leg, insert the foam into the
slot in the leg, ensuring it is fully set in. Repeat on
remaining legs.
PERIODICALLY CHECK MOUNTING HARDWARE AND TIGHTEN
Note: While carrying any load on your truck rack make sure your cargo load is distributed evenly across the cross
member. Refer to ANSI A14.2
Note: Properly support and restrain ladder in transit or storage. Wear damage from transit vibration may
weaken ladder.
