STEP 3.
Assemble Cross Member to Leg Uprights
Items needed: 9, 10, 11, 15, 20, 21, 7/32" hex key

1. Take one driver front/passenger rear leg rail mount
(#13) assembly and one passenger front/driver rear
leg mount (#2) assembly and connect them to one
cross member (#11). Dab thread locker (#27, not
shown) onto the threads of two screws (#20) and
loosely thread the screws through the gusset and into

two nut plates. Guide the nut plates into the grooves
of the cross member.

NOTE: Do not tighten gusset hardware to 12ft-lbs
torque until Step 5.1
2. Take the remaining two leg rail mount assemblies
and attach the second cross member using the same
procedure.
3. With the cross members assembled, wipe the cross

members to ensure they are clean and dry. Remove
backing from protective tape (#15) and place it on top
of the cross member next to the open slot. Repeat on
opposite side next to the slot with a second strip of
protective tape. Repeat on second cross member.
NOTE: Please ensure that the protective stripping
does not cover the slot.

STEP 4.
Assemble Ladder Stops
Items needed: 11, 12, 14, 21, 22, 23, 24, Phillips
screwdriver
1. Loosely assemble knob (#23), tooth lock washer
(#24), and square nut plate (#21) to the ladder stop
(#14). Slide the assembly into the slot on the top
side of the cross member (#11). Tighten in desired
location.
2. Attach two cross member end caps (#12) to each end
of the cross members with screws (#22).

NOTE: The larger slot opening is the top of the cross member and used
for the ladder stops. The smaller slot opening is the bottom of the cross
member and used for the gusset nut plates assembled to the gusset.
