NATURAL GAS PILOT INJECTOR
This conversion kit shall be installed by a qualifi ed service agency in accordance with the
manufacturer's instructions and all applicable codes and requirements of the authority having
jurisdiction. If the information in these instructions is not followed exactly, a fi re, explosion
or production of carbon monoxide may result causing property damage, personal injury or
loss of life. The qualifi ed service agency is responsible for the proper installation of this kit.
The installation is not proper and complete until the operation of the converted appliance is
checked as specifi ed in the owner instructions supplied with the kit.
WARNING: Failure to position the parts in accordance with these diagrams or failure to use only parts specifi cally approved with this appliance
may result in property damage or personal injury.
CAUTION: Before proceeding with conversion the gas supply must be shut off prior to disconnecting the electrical power.
1. Remove the safety screen, glass door and media.
2. Remove the 12 screws (6 per side) that secure the media tray and burner assembly in place. Lift this assembly up and out of the appliance.
3. Using a deep socket wrench, remove the orifi ce from the primary burner (left side, 30" burner) and replace with the orifi ce supplied (#37 for NG,
#52 for LP). Remove the orifi ce from the secondary burner (right side,12" burner) and replace with the orifi ce supplied (#52 for NG, #59 for LP).
4. Remove the two screws from the valve regulator and remove the regulator, replace with the one supplied, refer to Figure 1. Adjust the air shutter
for the primary and secondary burner according to the table located on the back of this page.

5. Remove the pilot hood from the pilot assembly by pulling vertically. Use a
the injector. Replace the pilot injector with the one supplied. Re-assemble the pilot hood onto the
assembly ensuring key position for proper alignment.
6. The conversion data label must be fi lled out and attached adjacent to the valve.
7. Re-install the burners and media tray assembly. Turn on the electrical supply to the appliance.
