Quick Start Screen Position Adjustment In order to optimize the best viewing position, you can adjust the tilt of the monitor by using both of your hands to hold the edges of the monitor as shown in the figure below. The monitor can be adjusted to 23 degrees up or 4 degrees down as indicated by arrow below. -

Quick Start –continued Connecting the Power Cord · Check first to make sure that the power cord you use is the correct type required for your area. · This monitor has a universal power supply that allows operation in AC 100-240 V AC voltage area. - Page 7 Quick Start –continued DVI-D Cable Installation (Optional) 1. Make sure both the monitor and computer are powered-OFF. 2. Connect the DVI-D Cable Connect one end of the monitor’s DVI-D cable to the digital DVI-D connector (24-pin socket) of the computer 5s graphics card. Connect the other end of the monitor’s DVI-D cable to the DVI-D connector (24-pin socket) in the rear of the monitor.

On a nonabrasive surface, place the monitor on a 51 mm/2.0 inch platform so that the stand is parallel with the surface (Figure M.1). Security Lock Installation Your new LCD1915X can be secured to your desk or any other fixed object with a Kensington lock security product. The Kensington lock’s cable can be attached to a slot located at the rear of the monitor. -
