Before cleaning or performing maintenance jobs, switch off
the electric mill and disconnect the power cable.
Be very careful not to introduce metal parts into the hopper
or any foreign bodies into the cereals such as, by way of
example, stones, nails, bolts, glass, plastic, wood, etc., as
these could seriously damage the machine.
Danger !!: Always wear protective gloves. The
machine
features
introduce hands or other parts of the body into
the mouth of the hopper when the electric mill is
working. Also be careful of cutting parts when
servicing and cleaning the machine with motor off!
Danger !! Avoid removing or damaging the
safety system which stops the motor if the sieve
is removed Wear the protections.
4. OTHER SAFETY REGULATIONS
When checking electric mill operation, also make sure that
the machine switches off when the switch is turned to 0. If
this is not the case, do not use the machine and contact your
nearest dealer.
The electric mill has been designed for grinding cereals for
animal feed use only. Any other use should be considered
improper and dangerous.
The manufacturer cannot accept liability for any damage or
injury caused by improper use of the electric mill.
For further information or repairs and maintenance, contact
your nearest dealer.

5. TRANSPORT

The machine is supplied in a recyclable cardboard box. This
box must be handled with care without being knocked or
shaken during transport.
6. INSTALLATION
The machine is supplied complete with: assembled machine
body, bin , hopper with retention screws, 4 sieves with
different holes .
a) Take the electric mill out of its packaging and make sure
all the component parts are in good condition. Without fitting
the plug in the power socket, proceed to assemble the various
parts following the instructions in Pictures 1-2-3.
c) Check the details shown on the manufacturer's plate
indicating the power voltage and frequency and before
connecting up the machine, make sure these are suitable for
the mains supply. Also make sure the mains supply is properly
earthed.
d) After making sure the electric mill is in good condition and

ready to use, work can start. It is best to start the machine
running empty.
e) Before placing any cereals in the machine, allow the motor
to run for about ten seconds. If any strange noises, instability
or excessive vibrations are noticed, switch the machine off,
disconnect from the power socket and contact your nearest
dealer.
7. CORRECT USE OF THE ELECTRIC MILL
To obtain cereals ground to the desired size, select the correct
sieve from among those supplied. In the event of the electric
mill already having been used and of having to replace the
sieve, make sure this is completely emptied by running it until
the grinding chamber is empty. Turn off the electric mill.
Disconnect the plug from the mains.
To fit the sieve in its housing, remove the bin (pict. 4) and
loosen the 2 stops that secure the sieve to the machine body
(pict. 5). Remove the sieve and replace with the new one (pict.
6). Before closing the 2 stops again, make sure the safety
device is properly placed in its housing (pict. 7).
Danger !! Make sure the hopper, and the bin
are in the correct position and well secured.
Always wear protective devices
devoid of straw or other foreign bodies that could damage
the blades or the motor
Connect the electric mill and start the motor (switch, symbol I).
Pour the cereal into the hopper. Do not force the cereal
through the mouth.
The electric motor features a thermal cutout that stops
operation in case of overheating. After a while the machine
will start again automatically.
In the event of the motor repeatedly stopping, the electric mill
will have to be switched off, the power supply will have to be
interrupted and the causes of overheating found (one of the
most frequent causes is the presence of foreign objects among
the cereal to be ground). If this problem persists, contact your
nearest dealer.
After grinding the cerealor when the bin is full turn off the
machine (switch symbol O). Some cereal can be left in the
grinding chamber, but remember to grind this before going
on to grind another type of cereal and replacing the sieve.
Before leaving the electric mill, make sure the plug has been
disconnected from the mains. The hopper, the grinding
chamber or the storage bin can be left full even when the
electric mill is not operating.
