INSTALLATION BEFORE YOU BEGIN • Consult a Qualified technician to obtain instructions. XZENT always recommends professional installation. • Disconnect the negative battery terminal. • The X-127 comes pre-mounted for the installation into standard 1DIN dash boards • In case of depth adjustments of the display, please see chapter <<customize depth of display>> NOTE: Most vehicles requires an installation kit, wiring harness and/or antenna adapters (which are sold separately) to properly install the head unit in a given vehicle. EINBAU BEVOR SIE BEGINNEN • Wenden Sie sich an einen autorisierten Techniker, um Anweisungen zu erhalten. XZENT empfiehlt immer eine professionelle Installation. • Klemmen Sie den Minuspol der Batterie ab. • Das X-127 wird vormontiert für den Einbau in Standard 1DIN Armaturenbretter geliefert. • Falls Sie das Display in der Tiefe verstellen möchten, lesen Sie bitte das Kapitel <<Anpassung der Tiefe des Displays>> HINWEIS: Für die meisten Fahrzeuge sind ein Einbausatz, ein Kabelbaum und/oder Antennenadapter erforderlich (separat erhältlich) um das Hauptgerät ordnungsgemäß im Zielfahrzeug zu installieren. INSTALLATION AVANT DE COMMENCER • Consultez un technicien Quailified pour obtenir des instructions. XZENT recommande toujours une installation professionnelle. • Débranchez la borne négative de la batterie. • Le X-127 est livré prémonté pour être adapté aux tableaux de bord standard 1DIN. • En cas de réglage de la profondeur de l'écran, veuillez consulter le chapitre <<personnaliser la profondeur de l'écran>>. Remarque : La plupart des véhicules nécessitent un kit d'installation, un faisceau de câbles et/ou un adaptateur d'antenne (tous vendus séparément) pour installer correctement l'unité principale sur le véhicule. INSTALLAZIONE PRIMA DI INIZIARE • C onsultare un tecnico Quailified per le istruzioni. Manuale del dispositivo Scheda chiave per il passaggio del numero di serie STRUMENTI RICHIESTI... - Page 6 INSTALLATION STANDARD 1-DIN DASH BOARD INSTALLATION Remark: Depth adjustment of the Display requires partial disassembly and adjustment of the ex- works standard mounting setup. This should be done before mounting the device into the dashboard. See the separate section for this. If no display depth adjustment hast to be done, proceed with the standard installation. Remove the 1-DIN mounting bracket (No. 3) from the main unit and install it into the dash kit (sold separately) or the dash opening. Bend the tabs to secure the mounting bracket firmly in place. Connect all necessary wires to XZENT device, with your vehicle specific setup (may depend on your vehicle, your optional audio equipment and preferences). Slide the XZENT main unit into the mounting bracket to lock it in place. Cover the adjustment mechanism with the corresponding flush cover No.14, with default setup 0mm (see picture). STANDARD EINBAU FÜR 1-DIN Bemerkung: Die Tiefeneinstellung des Displays erfordert eine teilweise Demontage und Anpassung der ab Werk voreigestellten Standardhalterung. Dies sollte vor dem Einbau des Geräts in das Armaturenbrett erfolgen. Beachten Sie den separaten Abschnitt hierzu, falls erforderlich. Wenn keine Tiefeneinstellung des Displays vorgenommen werden muss, fahren Sie mit dem Standardeinbau fort. Nehmen Sie die 1-DIN Montagehalterung (Nr. 3) vom Hauptgerät ab und bringen Sie sie am Armaturenbrettsatz (separat erhältlich) oder an der Armaturenbrettöffnung an. Biegen Sie die Laschen um, um die Montagehalterung im Schacht zu fixieren. Schließen Sie alle erforderlichen Kabel an das XZENT-Gerät an und richten Sie es fahrzeugspezifisch ein (dies kann von Ihrem Fahrzeug und der optionalen Audioausrüstung abhängen). Schieben Sie das XZENT-Hauptgerät in die Halterung, um es zu fixieren. Decken Sie den Einstellmechanismus mit der entsprechenden bündigen Abdeckung (Flush) Nr.14 ab, mit der Voreinstellung 0mm (siehe Abbildung). - Page 7 ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISPLAY POSITION ADJUSTMENT OF THE DISPLAY POSITION (VERTICAL HEIGHT, HORIZONTAL VIEWING ANGLE AND TILT). The display of the X-127 can be adjusted vertically in height as well as in viewing angle and tilt. Note: • Adjustments to the display should not be made while driving. • Observe the safety instructions of the vehicle. Also pay attention to the accessibility of buttons such as warning lights or air outlets. • The display should always be held with both hands „parallel“ (left and right centered) to adjust it. • The X-127 should be firmly mounted. Viewing angle adjustment and tilt: Grasp the display at the center of the left and right edges and push with one hand and pull with the other to adjust the viewing angle. For the tilt angle, perform a tilting motion away from or toward yourself with both hands. Height adjustment: Grasp the center of the display at the left and right edges and slide the display up or down. Depth adjustment requires partial disassembly and adjustment of the standard mounting. - Page 8 CUSTOMIZING DISPLAY DEPTH ADJUSTMENT CUSTOMIZING DISPLAY DEPTH ADJUSTMENT The depth adjustment of the display can be changed from default 0” setup (0mm) to 1/2“ (12.5mm) or 1” (25mm). Prerequisite: X-127 is disengaged from 1DIN dashboard and no mounting cage is fitted. To unlock the device from 1DIN dashboard, rotate the display group to a 90° position by holding the panel group with both hands and rotating it clockwise or anti-clockwise for 90°. Loosen the trim bracket No. 4 from main body and insert the device release keys No.3 at corresponding gap on left and right side (centre, between the main body and the 1-DIN mounting bracket – see picture). The release keys need to be inserted deep enough to disengage the clamp of the mounting bracket. Pull the X-127 out once the mounting bracket clamps are fully disengaged. Step 1: Remove the cover No.14 of the adjustment mechanism Step 2: Remove the 4 outer top screws and leave the center screw fastened. Gently pull the display-mounting-bracket by pulling on the display panel from the chassis to the desired 1/2" or 1“ position. To lock it in place, fasten the 4 outer top screws (see figure). On demo pictures the Display panel group is not visible to allow better visibility of the top screws. Step 3: Reinstall or install the X-127 to 1DIN dash board (see separate chapter). Installation process is same as default but other covers No.14 for the adjustment mechanism is required at the end. - Page 9 CUSTOMIZING DISPLAY DEPTH ADJUSTMENT PERSONNALISATION DU RÉGLAGE DE LA PROFONDEUR DE L'AFFIC Le réglage de la profondeur de l'écran peut être modifié, de 0" (0 mm) par défaut à 1/2" (12,5 mm) ou 1" (25 mm). Condition préalable : Le X-127 est désengagé du tableau de bord 1-DIN et aucune cage de montage n'est installée. Pour déverrouiller le dispositif du tableau de bord 1DIN, faites pivoter le groupe d'affichage à 90° en tenant le groupe de panneaux avec les deux mains et en le faisant tourner de 90° dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre ou dans le sens inverse. Desserrez le support de garniture n° 4 du corps principal et insérez les clés de déverrouillage du dispositif n° 3 dans l'espace correspondant à gauche et à droite. 3 dans l'espace correspondant sur les côtés gauche et droit (au centre, entre le corps principal et le support de montage 1Din - voir l'image). Les clés de déverrouillage doivent être insérées aussi profondément que possible jusqu'à ce que la pince du support de montage soit désengagée. Retirez le X-127 si les pinces du support de montage sont désengagées. Étape 1: retirez le couvercle No14 du mécanisme de réglage. Flush (default 0 mm) Étape 2: retirez les 4 vis extérieures supérieures et laissez la vis centrale fixée. Tirez doucement sur le support de montage de l'écran en tirant sur le panneau d'affichage du châssis 1" (25 mm) jusqu'à la position souhaitée de 1/2" ou 1". Pour le verrouiller en place, fixez les 4 vis 1/2" (12.5 mm) extérieures supérieures (voir figure). Sur les photos de démonstration, le groupe de panneaux d'affichage n'est pas visible pour permettre une meilleure visibilité des vis supérieures. Étape 3: Réinstallez ou installez le X-127 sur le tableau de bord 1-DIN (voir chapitre séparé). Le...
