5.0 MAINTENANCE

It is recommended that the bulbs be cleaned on a regular basis, usually every 2-3 months. This will help to main-
tain the desired effectiveness and life span.
Instruction:
1. Be sure to always disconnect power to the unit before performing any type of maintenance.
DISCONNECT THE ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY TO THE UV APPLIANCE BEFORE
ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTENANCE. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN CAUSE ELECTRICAL SHOCK
2. Carefully remove each bulb seperately and wipe them down with a clean and soft cloth. Always be carefull
not to touch the bulb with your bare hands as the oils on your skin can heat up on the bulb and reduce the
life of the bulb.
REDUCED PERFORMANCE OF LAMP MAY RESULT. CLEAN AFTER HANDLING.
3. Record maintenance date on the chart below for future reference.
