Sicherheitsventil SV21
In der Industrie werden oft Ventilinseln oder
pneumatische Komponenten in die Gehäuse
von Schaltgerätekombinationen oder anderen
Geräten eingebaut. Es besteht die Gefahr, dass
sich bei einem Defekt der Druckluftleitungen
oder einzelner Komponenten im Innern ein unzu-
lässiger Druck aufbaut. Dieser muss mit einer
geeigneten Schutzeinrichtung verhindert wer-
den. Diese wird unter anderem auch von der
Maschinenrichtlinie 2006/42/EG gefordert.
Das Sicherheitsventil SV21 schützt explosions-
geschützte Schaltgerätekombinationen oder
andere Geräte im Fehlerfall gegen einen unzu-
lässigen Innendruck. Der Nennansprechdruck
beträgt 5 mbar. Der Nennansprechdruck wurde
so gewählt, dass auch eine Prüfung eines
schwadengeschützten Gehäuses ohne Einbus-
se der Dichtheit durchgeführt werden kann. Die
Dichtheit der Steuerkästen wird bei dieser Zünd-
schutzart mit der Druckhalbwertzeit-Prüfung
ermittelt.

L'industrie utilise fréquemment des îlots de sou-
papes ou des composants pneumatiques mon-
tés dans le coffret des dispositifs combinés de
commutation ou d'autres appareils. Le danger
existe que, lors d'une défectuosité de l'amenée
d'air comprimé ou de l'un des composants, une
trop grande pression soit créée à l'intérieur du
boîtier. Ceci peut être évité au moyen d'un dis-
positif de protection adéquat. Une telle protec-
tion figure, entre autres, dans les exigences de
la directive Machines 2006/42/CE.
La soupape de sûreté SV21 protège les disposi-
tifs combinés de commutation ou autres appa-
reils antidéflagrants en cas de dérangement
contre une surpression interne. La pression
nominale de réponse est de 5 mbars. Cette
grandeur a été définie de manière à ce qu'une
vérification du boîtier antidéflagrant puisse être
effectuée sans réduire son étanchéité. Pour ce
mode de protection, l'étanchéité du coffret de
commande est déterminée par la vérification du
temps de demi-vie de la pression.

In industry valve clusters or pneumatic compo-
nents are often built into the enclosures of
switchgear combinations or other equipment.
There is a risk of an inadmissible build-up of
pressure on the inside due to a defective com-
pressed air line or a defect of individual compo-
nents. This has to be prevented with a suitable
protective device. Among other things, this is

2006/42/EC.
In the event of a fault, the SV21 safety valve pro-
tects explosionprotected switchgear combina-
tions or other equipment against an inadmissible
internal pressure. The rated response pressure
is 5 mbar. The rated response pressure was cho-
sen so that it is also possible to test a restricted
breathing enclosure without affecting the tight-
ness. With this type of protection, the tightness
of control boxes is determined by the pressure
half life test.
