PROPER USAGE

USING YOUR FLIP SHANK
Your Rola bike carrier will fit either 1-1/4" or 2"receivers. To change sizes:
1. Remove ½-13 x 1-1/4" bolts and lock washers. Loosen pivot bolt.
Rotate shank to appropriate size for your hitch receiver. Reinstall both
½-13 x 1-1/4" bolts and ½" lock washers. Tighten evenly a ¼ turn at a
time until secure. FIG 2.
2. Tighten pivot bolt. FIG 2.
INSTALLING ON VEHICLE
1. Slide shank end into receiver. FIG 3. Insert anti-rattle pin (H) with
½" flat washer (D) and ½" lock washer (E) and tighten securely with
supplied wrench (J) then install hitch pin (I).
2. Pull handle upward and remove. Rotate arms to the "up" position (until
holes in tube align). FIG 4.
3. Insert handle into the holes and push downward to secure. FIG 4.
