INSTRUCTIONS MAY COMPROMISE THE GOOD FUNCTIONING OF THE SYSTEM,
LEADING TO DANGEROUS SITUATIONS AND INVALIDATE THE PRODUCT WARRANTY.
The device described in this booklet shall not be used except for the reason it was explicitly created for:
COMMAND SYSTEM FOR DOCK LEVELLER (according to the EN 1398 standard).
The overall installation must be done « according to the rules of the trade » and everything has to conform to the following
directives:
2014/30 / UE, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive,
2014/35 / UE, Low Voltage Directive,
2006/42 / EC, Machinery Directive
2009/EN Dock Levelers Safety Requirements
and the applicable sections of current respective standards for the concerned geographical location,
primarily the connecting conditions, insulation and protection of persons and materials.
All connecting operations (cabling, setting up, ...) must be done with the power turned off by
qualified personnel.

The overall installation must be maintained and preserved in good working condition.
The materials employed must be adapted to the weather conditions of the place of installation.
The PIC 201A S electronic circuit board must be placed in an enclosure with a protection index higher or equal to IP
In case of any doubt about the security and/or reliability regarding the setting up of this product, stop the installation procedure
and contact the equipment distributor.
Before any cleaning or maintenance operation, power off the device.
In case of breakdown or malfunction, power off the device immediately and contact Technical Support. Any fixing must be
carried out by specialized personnel, who will have to make sure that they will use only original and certified spare parts.
This product was researched and built by ETME, who took care of checking the compliance of its features with requirements of
current standards. Product misuse or usage for purposes other than the ones for which it was intended and/or suggested were not
experimented with by the Manufacturer. Consequently, any operation done on it falls completely under the responsibility of the
installation crew.
The ETME Manufacturer declines all responsibility in case of :
Electric installation does not comply with current regulations, especially the ones concerning improper protection circuit
(grounding).
Inadequate adjustment carried out by the customer that can lead to a hazardous situation or permanent damage to the
equipment.
The installing personnel must ensure the good working order of the installation, especially all security functions, before using.
