Explosionproof Hand Lamps in Protection

Safety Rules
The explosionproof hand lamps HL43i are used
in hazardous areas designated as Zones 0, 1
and 2 as per EN 60079-10-1 or Zones 20, 21
and 22 as per EN 60079-10-2.
Operate the hand lamps only for their intended
duty and when in an undamaged and clean con-
dition, and only where the enclosure material is
capable of withstanding the ambient conditions.
The explosion-protected HL43I hand lamps
may only be operated with the associated
power supply unit, type PS43i.***, incorpora-
ted in an intrinsically safe circuit.
In the event of incorrect assembly, the degree of
protection IP 68 (2.5 m head of water above test
specimen with a test duration of 24 hours) as per
EN 60529 will no longer be assured.
No modifications or repairs may be carried
out on the explosionproof hand and lamps.
