The appliance with dual sensor serves to measure non-magnetic coatings such as
paint, enamel, chrome, copper, zinc, etc. on steel or iron and also all insulating
coatings such as paint, plastics, enamel, etc. on non-magnetic metallic substrates
(aluminium, copper or brass).
Any other use is considered an improper use.
The user is solely responsible for damage resulting from improper
use.
Initial use und battery changing
The appliance is operated with two Mignon batteries (AA/Art. 0827 112).
Alternatively two 1.2 V rechargeable batteries (AA/Art. 0827 312) can be
used.
Rechargeable batteries have a significantly lower capacity!
As the batteries become discharged, a battery warning is displayed in three
levels:
Level 1 A battery change is recommended. You can still carry out numerous
measurements, however, until the appliance finally shuts down.
Backlighting is active.
Level 2 (Small symbol)
Measurements are still possible.
Backlighting is deactivated.
Level 3 (Large symbol in middle of display)
Measurements no longer possible.
