Brew (V)
After you have filled your RDT Spinning Sprayhead Coffee Maker with ground coffee and water, press
the Brew button to immediately start the brew cycle. The Brew button illuminates RED when the brew
cycle is in progress. You will hear three audible beeps to identify the end of the brew cycle. Pressing the
Brew button while the brew cycle is running immediately stops the brew cycle and the Brew button will
be illuminated BLUE to indicate the brewer is in the standby mode.
Bloom (W)
Pressing the Bloom button activates the Bloom function. The Bloom button is illuminated RED when the
Bloom function is on and BLUE when it is off.
Note:
The state of the Bloom function (on / off) is retained between brew cycles. You must intentionally turn
off the Bloom function to disable it for future brew cycles. See the Science Behind Coffee Bloom on
page 8 for more information about the Bloom function.

Clean (L)
After about 100 brews, the Clean Indicator will be illuminated on the Control Panel. This is a reminder to
descale your RDT Spinning Sprayhead Coffee Maker. Over time, all coffee brewers need to be descaled
to function at their best. Please follow instructions on page 15 to descale your RDT Spinning Sprayhead
Coffee Maker.
After cleaning your RDT Spinning Sprayhead Coffee Maker, press the Timer On (U) button for 5 seconds
until warning indicator disappears and resets.
Keep Warm / Auto Shut Off
The Keep Warm / Auto Shut Off function keeps your brewed coffee warm for a specified amount of
time. The Heating Plate is automatically turned off after the specified Keep Warm time. The Keep Warm
default time is preset at 2 hours. However, you may adjust the Keep Warm time from 0 - 4 hours in
1-hour increments. To change the Keep Warm time, press and hold the Clock (Q) and Timer (R) buttons
simultaneously and press the Hour button. When the desired Keep Warm time is displayed, release the
Clock and Timer buttons.
Note:
If you wish to turn off the Heating Plate before the Keep Warm time expires, you may press the Brew
button at any time. When the Brew button is illuminated RED, the Heating Plate is on, when it is
illuminated BLUE the Heating Plate is off.
