Always make certain that the radiant gas heater is standing in a stable position. The glass tube can break if the radiant gas
heater falls over.
•
Never operate the radiant gas heater if the glass tube shows evidence of cracking.
Requirements for gas

•
Use propane, butane or propane-butane mixtures.
•
The maximum inlet pressure of the regulator may not exceed 100 psi (6.89 bar).
•
The pressure regulator and the hose assembly employed must conform to the relevant local regulations.
•
Use the correct pressure regulator in accordance with the relevant local regulations and the specification on page 30 of
these operating instructions.
•
Assembling must be in accordance with local regulations. In case no such regulations exist, comply with the relevant standar-
dization regulations for the storage and handling of liquefied gases.
•
Dented, rusted or damaged propane gas bottles can pose a danger and must be controlled by your gas bottle supplier.
•
Never use a propane gas bottle with a damaged valve connection.
•
The propane gas bottle must be configured so that gas can be supplied from the gas bottle during operation.
•
Never connect an unregulated propane gas bottle to the radiant gas heater.
•
The rubber hose connecting the regulator with the inlet may not be longer than 50 cm.
•
The rubber hose must bear a CE marking and be thermally stable from -20° to 80°.
