Donning and doffing
Care must be taken during donning/doffing not to
damage the liner with fingernails or sharp jewelry.
Do NOT pull or stretch the liner.
1. Roll the liner inside out.
2. Make sure the liner is positioned
correctly to suit the top profile.
3. Roll the liner on taking care to
expel any trapped air.
Warning: when donning a sock, clothing and
the prosthetic limb, be aware that the liner
can build up a static charge.

3 Cleaning and care

Cleaning and care
Wash the inside of the liner daily to avoid
any build up of bacteria. Use a simple,
unperfumed soap (ideally pH balanced).
Hand wash or Cool machine wash.
Rinse well in clean water to remove all
residues and dry thoroughly before use.
Take care when drying and handling the
liner. Pat dry with a lint-free cloth or leave
to air dry. Do NOT leave the liner inside
out to dry as this can stretch the liner and
permanently distort the shape.
Take care handling the liner when it is
inside out to avoid picking up dust, grit
and other contamination which could
cause irritation to the skin.
Skin care
It is recommended that when using the
liner the residuum should be washed
daily with a simple, unperfumed soap
(ideally pH balanced). Rinse thoroughly to
remove any soapy residue before drying
thoroughly. Use a lotion for dry skin. Make
sure that any damaged skin is properly
and suitably dressed.
DO NOT tumble dry.
Do NOT use alcohol sprays,
household cleaners or abrasives
which could damage the liner
and cause skin irritation
Precautions
Warning: To avoid danger of
suffocation, keep the liner away
from babies and children
Keep away from direct heat
sources which could damage the
liner.
Stop using the liner if it is torn or
damaged.
