Branch circuit protection
Any class J fuse rated 600 Vac, limited to high−interrupting capacity 100 kA min.

Branch circuit protection:
– Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more than
100000 rms symmetrical amperes, 500 V max.
– Use specified fuses as shown in the table. Voltage of the fuses must at
least be suitable with the input voltage of the drive.
The integral solid state protection does not provide branch circuit protection
and that branch circuit protection has to be provided externally in
accordance with manufacturers instructions, the National Electrical Code
and any additional codes.
For information on the protection level of the internal overload protection
for a motor load in percent of FLA, see the corresponding Application
Manuals or Software Helps.
For information on rating and proper connection of the thermal protector
(only for connection to motors having integral thermal protection), see the
corresponding Application Manuals or Software Helps.
Maximum surrounding air temperature: 40 °C.
Use 75 °C copper wire only, except for control circuits.
These products are intended for use in a pollution degree 2 environment.
Supply input wire protection − The drive shall be protected by any UL Listed fuse in accordance
with the NEC.
(Note: The discrete internal semiconductor fuses are considered branch circuit protection)
