or specific amperage ratings stated on product.

vehicle's battery.
ALWAYS wear safety glasses and use all safety
precautions during installation.

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Trim Panel Remover, 10mm Socket & Ratchet or
10mm Wrench, Drill (3/32" Drill Bit), Wire Crimpers,
Wire Cutters, Flat Head Screwdriver, Philips Head
Screwdriver, Test-probe
1. Open rear hatch.

2. Remove all cargo area floor coverings and set
aside, in the center of the cargo area locate the
push pins to remove the center cargo panel.
3. On the driver's side locate the round small round
cover, using a 10mm socket, remove the trim panel
retaining bolt. Carefully pull back the panel to
access the vehicles tail light wiring.
4. On the driver's side, insert the T-One
end, with the brown wire, between the vehicle
wiring connectors and lock into place. Be careful
not to damage the locking tabs and be sure that
connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in

place.
5. On the Driver's side, mount the T-One
black box using the double-sided tape provided.
harness with the cable ties provided, to prevent
damage or rattling and being careful to avoid any
areas that would cut or pinch the wire.
CAUTION
Verify what is behind any surface prior to drilling to
avoid damage to the vehicle and/or personal injury.
Do not drill into any exposed surfaces.
6. Locate a suitable grounding point near the
connector such as an existing ground stud or drill
a 3/32" hole and secure the white wire using the
eyelet and screw provided. (Do not drill into vehicle
floor or bed.) Clean dirt and rustproofing from area.

7. Connect the other end of the black 12 ga. wire to
the black power wire located on the T-Connector's
black box, using the yellow butt connector
(provided).
8. Route the harnes with the yellow wire and the
black power, down along the threashold to the
center of the cargo area. Locate the grommet,
carefully slit the grommet. Insert the harness with
the yellow and the black power, through the slit in
the grommet.

9. Underneath the vehicle, locate the center panel
connected to the bumper fascia. Remove the push
pins and set asside, locate the plastic screw and
remove the screw with a flat head screw driver.

10. Under neath the vehicle near the rear bumper

cover on the driver's side, Locate the mating
connectors. insert the T-One
the green & yellow wires, between the vehicle
wiring connectors and lock into place. Be careful
not to damage the locking tabs and be sure that
connectors are fully inserted with locking tabs in

place.

WARNING
If routing the wire thru a grommet and along the
exterior of the vehicle, be careful to avoid any hot
pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank or any other points
that may pinch or break the wire.
11. Beginning from the rear of the vehicle, route the
black 12 ga. wire forward along the frame rail
avoiding any hot pipes, heat shields, the fuel tank or
any other points that may pinch or break the wire.

12. Disconnect the vehicle's Negative (-) battery cable.
If not removed, remove the fuse from the yellow
fuse holder (provided).  After cutting the fuse holder
wire, attach the ring terminal and secure to the
vehicle's Positive (+) battery cable.  Connect the
other end of the fuse holder to the black 12 ga.
wire, using the yellow butt connector (provided).
13. Reconnect the vehicle's Negative (-) battery cable
and install the 15 amp fuse into the fuse holder
from step 12.

WARNING
Read and follow all warnings and cautions printed
on the tow vehicle's battery. All connections must
be complete for the T-One
Connector to function
®
properly. Test and verify installation with a test light
or trailer once installed. For initial test, reset vehicle
electrical system by temporarily removing the key
from the ignition.
15. Reinstall the plastic trim panels, threshold, storage
covers, floor covering and other items that may
have been removed during installation, being
careful not to pinch or cut the wires
NOTE
Secure all loose wires and mount the Trailer Tow
Harness in an accessible location with a bracket or
electrical box. .
WARNING
Overloading circuits can cause fires. DO NOT
exceed stated product ratings. Read vehicle's
owner's manual & instruction sheet for additional
information.
