However, due to door construction, it may not always be possible to mount any cat flap this low and in these circumstances it is recommended that the Smart Flap should be installed as low down on the door as is possible.

Allerdings ist das nicht immer möglich da Türen oft verschieden gebaut sind und man die Katzenklappe nicht immer so tief einbauen kann. Unter diesen Umständen empfiehlt Petporte dass mann das Smart Flap so tief wie möglich einbaut und manchmal braucht es einen kleinen Tritt auf der Aussenseite um die Distanz vom Mikrochip der Katze zum Scanner des Vordaches zu verkleinern (so lange dies nicht eine Stolpergefahr für Menschen ist).
