2. SERVICING
For the sake of health and hygiene, it is preferable that the hoods be always worn by the same people !
Change the discardable protections and screens as soon as vision is affected, as well as window or screen joints if they are damaged.
Periodically remove the air inlet connection on the hood's backside ( Fig. 4 ) and make sure the filter/muffler are clean ( item 1 ). If necessary,
wash the helmet in warm water with dish washing product added and then carefully dry it with compressed air. Make sure the joint is in good
condition ( item 2 ). If necessary, replace with a new original joint.
Also make sure the filter and the soundproofing foam in the air flow control device ( Fig. 5 ) are clean. If necessary, replace with new original
parts.
After each cleaning operation, make sure the system is operating correctly. Check for any leaks and, if necessary, replace the defective parts .

3. STORAGE
After usage, cleaning and inspection, carefully store the system in a fresh, dry and dark location.
Avoid storage under fluorescent lights and in the vicinity of a heat source. Avoid stacking helmets too close to ceilings where the temperature is
the highest.
Do NOT store in the vicinity of greasy materials, chemical products or volatile substances ( paints, chemical solvents, etc. )
4. SERVICING PERIODICITY
Before usage : perfect operating condition inspection and examination of the various components.
After usage : cleaning, washing, drying, perfection operating condition inspection of the complete system.
5. GENERAL CONDITIONS
ACF shall NOT be held liable for any damages or prejudices arising out of : (1) the usage by the operator of his product other than that for which
it was intended ; (2) a situation or an environment for which the product was not designed ; (3) an incomplete or incorrect application of safety,
health, servicing, usage instructions ; (4) incidents due to repairs made by unqualified personnel ; (5) non-respect to the identical arrangement or
incorrect replacement of original parts complying to the initial model ; or (6) use of parts other than ACF original spare parts.
We are continually committed to improving our products and reserve the right to make changes without notice on the product itself or to the
content of the prescriptions specified for correct usage or in the instructions.
6. WARRANTY
In the event of usage in compliance with the general prescriptions indicated in the instructions, if the equipment should fail to perform correctly due
to poor workmanship or defective materials within the six (6) months following the date of purchase, and provided the serial number and reference
have not be removed, changed, or erased, ACF will proceed either with a standard replacement or make repairs under warranty, provided the
product is returned within eight (8) days subsequent to the complaint date.
In the event of noncompliance with our instructions stipulating the exclusive usage of ACF original spare parts, the EC conformance validity of the
concerned product will be immediately revoked, as well as any right to warranty.
In addition, legal proceedings may be engaged against any user or supplier of non-ACF original spare parts.
By way of the official authority of the EEC member states, all marketed nonconforming parts or products shall be immediately withdrawn.
